Attaché – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Ethiopia in assigned areas.
• Support Ethiopia's foreign policy and diplomatic objectives.
• Monitor political, economic, social, cultural, and other relevant developments.
• Conduct research and prepare analytical reports, briefs, and assessments.
• Maintain professional relationships with government institutions, diplomatic missions, and international organizations.
• Support diplomatic meetings, official visits, conferences, and other government activities.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate information relevant to Ethiopia's national interests.
• Assist senior diplomatic officials with policy analysis and official documentation.
• Promote cooperation between Ethiopian institutions and counterparts in assigned areas.
• Support bilateral and multilateral programs and initiatives.
• Attend relevant meetings and prepare reports and summaries.
• Facilitate communication between diplomatic missions and institutions in Ethiopia and the host country.
• Prepare official correspondence, reports, presentations, and diplomatic documents.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Mission or the Ministry.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduates from any field of study are eligible.
• No prior work experience is required.
• Female applicants are encouraged to apply.
