Job Description
Safaricom Ethiopia is looking for a Specialist – Finance Business Partnering to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, investment business cases, and post-investment reviews across non-Technology business units.
Job Summary
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with non-Technology units to support financial planning and reporting processes, evaluate new investment opportunities, and provide finance-related support on domain-specific issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management.
- Experience in the mobile telecommunications sector is preferred/required by the stated criteria, or in a similar finance role within a large organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support non-Technology business units with financial reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop and support business cases for new investments.
- Conduct post-investment reviews.
- Provide finance support on domain-specific issues within the assigned scope.
- Work collaboratively with business and finance teams to support effective financial decision-making.
