Cleaner/Messenger- Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of offices, conference rooms, and premises.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools.
• Ensure regular availability of coffee, tea, milk powder, and sugar at designated stations.
• Serve refreshments to guests and visitors upon request.
• Replenish consumable items before they run out.
• Check incoming and outgoing files on message trays in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and events of up to 20 people.
• Clean up after meetings and events and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Run official errands as assigned.
• Report damage to office premises and equipment immediately.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Comply with GIZ orientation requirements and Ethiopia National Personnel Policy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Primary school education.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role, with references.
• Basic knowledge of English or German is desirable.
• Ability to handle and dispose of potentially important documents sensitively.
• Reliability and good organizational skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under pressure.
