Key Responsibilities:
Costing & Cost Control:

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze cost sheets for all Job Orders and production batches.
• Implement and monitor Job Order Costing System with accurate allocation of materials, labor, and overhead.
• Review BOM accuracy for all plastic products.
• Monitor actual vs. standard costs and investigate variances.
• Conduct cost audits for production lines, machinery, and wastage.
• Inventory & Material Management:
• Reconcile raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production departments for accurate stock movements.
• Assist in monthly and annual physical inventory counts.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Prepare monthly cost reports, variance, and profitability analyses.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for production costs.
• Provide management with insights for cost optimization and process improvement.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS, and Ethiopian tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate costing documentation and support internal/external audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Job Order Costing systems.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Peachtree).
• Knowledge of inventory management and production processes.
• Preferred: experience in plastic manufacturing or printing industry.
