Job Description

Elad Industry Salt Manufacturing and Distribution PLC is seeking a highly competent, experienced, and results-driven Factory Manager to lead and oversee all factory operations at its Afdera production facility.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Operations Management

Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control the overall day-to-day operations of the factory.

Lead and manage all factory activities to achieve production targets and quality standards.

Ensure efficient utilization of human, financial, and material resources.

Develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth and expansion.

Monitor and improve production efficiency, productivity, and operational effectiveness.

Financial and Resource Management

Prepare and manage annual operational budgets.

Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.

Review operational and financial reports to assess productivity and identify improvement opportunities.

Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources and operational sustainability.

Production and Quality Management

Oversee all production processes to ensure consistent product quality.

Ensure compliance with production schedules and delivery timelines.

Implement quality assurance measures throughout the manufacturing process.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing operational costs.

Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics

Plan and oversee procurement of raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and other factory inputs.

Monitor inventory levels and establish minimum stock requirements to avoid production interruptions.

Coordinate logistics and movement of materials and finished products.

Ensure efficient warehouse and inventory management practices.

Leadership and Human Resource Management

Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate department heads and factory personnel.

Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor staff performance.

Promote a high-performance culture and continuous professional development.

Ensure employees receive relevant training and development opportunities.

Health, Safety, Environment, and Compliance

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Implement and monitor occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems.

Promote sustainability initiatives, waste management, conservation, and recycling practices.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder and Customer Relations

Address customer concerns and collaborate with relevant teams to improve customer satisfaction.

Represent the company in meetings with government institutions, regulatory bodies, partners, and other stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Reporting and Administration

Prepare and submit operational, financial, and production reports to senior management.

Ensure proper documentation and reporting systems are maintained.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.


Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in:

Industrial Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Chemical Engineering

Manufacturing Engineering

Management

Or other relevant Social Science or Natural Science fields

Experience

Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations.

At least three (3) years in a senior management or leadership position.

Experience in salt processing, mining, manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries is highly desirable.

Direct experience in salt production and processing operations is a strong advantage.
