General Maintenance Personnel – Doctors Alliance General Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair activities throughout the hospital.
• Regularly inspect hospital facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical problems.
• Identify faults and perform basic troubleshooting and repair.
• Support electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance activities.
• Ensure hospital infrastructure and equipment remain safe and functional.
• Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keep maintenance work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Report major technical faults requiring specialized intervention.
• Support other maintenance-related activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance work experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:
  • Electrical maintenance
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • General building maintenance
  • Equipment repair and troubleshooting
• Previous experience working in a hospital or institutional setting is an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic equipment troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Good technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic repair and maintenance work.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to respond effectively to maintenance emergencies.
